Elissa likes money and she also likes jewelry as well. But she loves getting money to sell jewelry. That's what she is doing in the brutal Kingdom of Bahrain. She just landed there to attend and promote Jewelry Arabia 2012. This would normally be cool event, had it not been held in Bahrain.
Elissa wanted the money, she is a nobody in Bahrain. the Kingdom has been trying to tell people to look past the protests, by holding a number of events. Elissa's attending one of them is just one of the latest PR attempts--the kingdom hired half a dozen America PR companies to help them improve their image.
Elissa does not have to take a word I say, she just need to take a tour of the city and talk to real people about their trouble. While a certain American actress is dedicating her time to hear about Bahrain and its people, Elissa in it for the money and the bling. Shame on Elissa and shame on the organizers who hold such events on the blood of the innocent victims.
The worst part, while everyone is talking about Syria, no one seems to care about the Bahrain and its fragile regime.
