Anytime a singer talks about himself in the third person I lost respect for them. This is how he stars his song Ramy Ayach is on the radio and he listens to the radio talking about him. But for his latest song he is talking about someone else, some Lebanese immigrant who dominated the world of poetry and literature. Khalil Gibran is whose name the song is named after, but it's not about the man and his work.
The clip was released in concert with the word about Ramy's engagement to a home girl. I do not think Gibran who left Lebanon for New York made made America a better place and its make him a better man. As for the song, I think Ramy wanted people to see him in a different light. Pop does not really build a legacy, but touching songs do.
Ramy is playing the piano as he sings for his love. The song is attribute to Gibran's passion. I do not like the weird dancing going on stage as the song. The video makes you think of foreign capitals think Paris, and New York. I do too like the vintage theater.
