Kazem Al Saher Lets His Music Do The Flirting

Kazem is a man whose songs have repeatedly shown that one he is a romantic, two he loves to glorify the ladies. He is a big flirt and often uses dozens of models in his music videos, but unlike most he keeps a safe distance. The ladies featured in his clips dress in a classy and eye pleasing way.

As for his part, Kazem keeps healthy look. He never puts on weight, always dressed for success and plays along. He is part of the show, it's an interaction between him and the models...he does not let them just stand in there looking awkward. Kazem has never been known for dance songs, but every now and then he tries something new to test it out.

Se the clip below, it's a song with a catchy and dancey beat, yet the women keep the classy look, there's a sense of positive energy in the room. Kazem walks in sees them and starts giving us a lesson of the ways of women, because in the romance game, you are on the land of women. The lyrics of the song are complex, just like trying to understand women, they are many things.  This is a 2011 song (Dalaa Al Nissa), the music videos was filmed din the Ukraine.

This is rather a fresh look for the singer who kicked things up a nudge for this modern tale. You can see your average club dance, a take on Iraqis' Favorite group dance.  Anyone who has been in a relationship will understand the song very well, as the relationship can go from nice and lovey into crazy in a heartbeat.

Listen: Guys Are Really Sweet Samer 2012 Single اغنية سامر ابو طالب - انا وانتى

No woman I know wants a man who cries more than she does. She may want him to be sensitive  and emotional at times. But not too emotional. I such balance lives a new old singer from is none other than the always sweet Samer Abu Talib. The voice who is making waves on the popular show The Voice. While he has released an album in 2009, he is still trying to figure out the commercial success and the going big thing.

His songs often remind me of something I may have otherwise forgotten. Also, the singer's voice and execution of the lyrics is important, he is always on the same level as the instrumentation. He is the sincere guy who shines in his pretty sweet solo.

Samer is not about getting the adrenaline going, instead his songs usually fall under great lyrics, moving melodies and musicianship. He is the singing broken heart, I sing because otherwise I would cry. We won't bear being apart, but this is the only option we have sings Samer

Listen: Cyrine Abdel Nour 2012 Single جديد | اغنية سيرين عبد النور - حبايبى

Cyrine Abdel Nour has invaded four industries--she is an award wining model, an award winning songstress,   an award winning actress, and one hell of a product endorser. So, Cyrine Abdel Nour is a wholesome entertainer and family woman. She has sounded more dreamy and romantic in the past, but this time she is going for happy and life loving.

She is Miss class on top of glamour. God knows, she does not need to work, she has a lifetime celebrity status. She just needs to stare into the camera, and people will pay her to see that. But she ain't taking a break or slowing down, she has a new hot single out, and it's about her loved ones.

"Habybi" is an Egyptian song with the touches of masters like Tarke Madkour who arranged the music, the lyrics are the works of posh poet Bahaa Aldeen Mohamed. The music has been imagined by Ahmed Salah Hosny. Together that has brought to light a  platonic song about people we like in our life, the people that love us no matter what. It's a happy song and has caught fire on Lebanese radio. The time of the song is engineered to be close to holidays and new year concert deals. She is an accomplished songstress and she could use couple of good and well paid gigs.

As for her looks, Cyrine Abdel Nour has a team of people making sure she looks her best at any given minute. She pulls it off so well and so naturally. I won't be surprised if some women do not have a secret crush on her. I know the guys are heads over heels.

Listen: Medhat Saleh 2012 Single اغنية مدحت صالح - مين فيكم

Time for a reality check, and this is what you get once you listen to the new single from Medhat Saleh, the voice that has documented Egyptian pop culture for two generations and still going strong. Medhat is a fixture of Egyptian entertainment--films, TV, and music. He does record songs and albums. But he also helps new voices like Lebanese Natasha who recorded a duet with him last year.

Medhat Saleh performed this song for a TV drama, the song talks about greed and overlooking the need of others. The song is about standing next to one's brother and sister in one line. If you want to own life--be honest. Share what you have with others and take part of their sorrow.

Life is not to blame, we are the ones to blame. Our quest for earning a living has shut down our hearts. This is a wise songs that can also apply to what we witnessing unfold in Egypt. Medhat Saleh has always been a voice that stays away from politics, but always jump into commenting on life and other matters. I grew up listening to his music. He is like a sage to me and to many out there.

Listen: Tamer Ashour 2012 Single اغنية تامر عاشور - بنحبها يا قلبى | النسخة الاصلية | 2012

I cannot decide if this song is meant for Egypt, for mothers or for the love interest. Tamer Ashour does a very fine job keeping things vague. That makes them hits for more people, the song is about the subject you want it to be. This is a happy tone with a catchy tune.

This song is about longing for that thing, that never forgets, and as we step away form it, we miss it more and never forget it. Tamer is one of those nostalgic voices, you love him because the memories you associate with his songs. He also happens to be one of the greatest story tellers of his generation. I am impressed by the size of his fan base and their dedication to their beloved star.

This is not strange, as Tamer Ashour takes his music making talent seriously, earning himself the admiration of millions--young and old.

The Year Of Elissa! She Signs Her New Album

Every fan wants a piece of their favorite artist, getting a singed copy is triumphs for those loving fans, but some go a little bit farther (like that little girl with Elissa perfume and mobile picture) After 3 years of not releasing any new material. Elissa released "Assad Wa7da", the fans rejoiced all over the world. Critics had mixed feelings, but as long as the fans are buying the album this is what matters.

At the Virgin Mega Store Elissa made time to meet with the fans, sing their CDs, and talk to them. She was surrounded by half a dozen bodyguard who formed a wall around she as she walked in her bright red dress. I am weep for the young men who stood singing Elissa's romantic songs like pros! Those are the men, what's left for the ladies, I wonder?

She took pictures with the screaming fans. The trick to singing CDs, is not getting caught in the chatter with every fan. Some fans are really weird too. Just keep the line moving, no cross the table hugs. Elissa give a quick interview as the dudes tried to keep her cool by using posters as fans. It does not make sense for the hot space, there were a lot of fans.

This Video Is To Blame For Egypt's Troubles

There's a fad in Egypt they call folksy festivals. Auto-tuned voices of singers with little talent but a lot of personality recounting tales of life and crappy things they have seen. People living in poverty-stricken pockets of Cairo relate to those stories. Broke people who want to get married and party, hire those singers. Young people from that neighborhood and other ones as well show up to the wedding celebrating turning it to a block party--something they dub "Mahrgan"

Those people had to come up with a dance for their new muse. And I am not very impressed in what I saw, Egypt remains a male dominated societies. But to be a male is to be responsible, earn a living and be respectful. Not dance like a drunken. zombie.

These young people grinding on one another, got no jobs, live with their parents who buy them even their snappy hair gel. I do not even know how to classify this dance, martial art meets the robot man with a bit of Brazilian Capoeira.
